Those are pretty cupcakes! How did you get the frosting to look that swirly? I'm guessing you used a tip? What did you use to make the letter B with?
How did you get away with putting sprinkles on there? Our school is so hardcore about no sprinkles or candy or anything on the cupcakes. They are soo soo cute
Astrid, I just put the frosting in a plastic ziploc and cut the corner off. Voila! Instant cake decorator!Nicole, Our school does not have a rule about sprinkles--- I don't know why!?
OOPS, and the B's are just melted chocolate piped through another ziploc and refrigerated.
darling! as usual. you never cease to inspire me.
Soooo sweet!!How long did the letters take you?How long did they refrigerate for?
Thanks Joni!Erin, the letters seriously took like 10 minutes... it's easy! I put them in the fridge overnight, that was just for the sake of storage until tomorrow. You could eat them right away!
Those are some lucky birthday boys you've got there! Lucky mom too. Love the candle lit pic!
There are schools out there that don't allow sprinkles on cupcakes? Really?
Will you be my kids 2nd mom?
i am TOTALLY stealing this idea! i love it. you are super creative!! :)
Those are so cute! In my son's school we're not allowed to make anything. Has to be store bought. Happy Birthday to your boys!!!
So cute! Too bad my son's 5th birthday was a week before I saw this! And... Last year I made pumpkin bread using the delicious recipe you posted. Of course I didn't save or print out that recipe, and when I went to look for it to make it again today, it said that page doesn't exist anymore! So, I was wondering if you would please, please, please post it again?
Those look yummy! I have turkey cookies in my header again ... it's about that time :)
