back in the saddle.

So, taking my blog totally private became such a sore subject with me, (boo-hoo) my husband recommended that I start a new blog without family photos on it.

BINGO!
So, here I am-- and while I might claim to be a great blogger now, taking away the ability to blog with my family photos is like cutting off my right arm. (My private blog is in hiatus for a month or two.) But, I'm not going down without a fight-- even if I have an audience watch me fail at this new task. (Take that you gross pornography blog and your bad link to my cookie recipe!)
.
I'm one that hides behind my photos. I'm an all too visual person, usually skimming whole chapters in books and important papers. (such a slack!) In fact, if I were an outsider looking in, I could easily see myself skimming this whole paragraph even though it might contain some highly important information. Does it? Well, you can be the judge of that! I want to write more in this re-born blog, not that it won't be chock full of luscious photos too.
.
I was debating making a whole new blog address, but I think I still like the ring of this one. I'll let you know!
Thanks for sticking around,
Emily

Yay! I really enjoy your blog, but I have to admit that I enjoy hearing about your family since I have two small children (a 1-year-old and almost 3-year-old) of my own...I can relate and I love your ideas because they are almost always cheap and so much fun. In fact I did do the silhouette project! Anyway, glad to hear you'll still have a public blog! :)

Glad you're back, and I'm sorry we won't be seeing the adorable photos you took of your boys. They are so cute, and I'll miss their expressions!

Glad you're up to the challenge. I'll miss your boy tutorials--but I'm sure you'll try new things you wouldn't have otherwise. Hope that helps! Your words are worth the read, and I'm looking forward to the pics too!

I really hope that this works out for you Em! I will miss the updates on the family though. Let me know when you do start up your family one again. Cause I was/am an avid reader.
I am glad to see that you are hoping to write more in your blog though, I am a reading kind of girl and will look at the pictures with great appreciation but love the words that can't always be seen in the pictures. The back stories or the right afters. There is beauty in those moments to me.
Good luck with this, I will still be an avid reader.

I love, love, love your blog! I'm glad you're not going away. I loved seeing photos of your family and of your adventures but I completely understand needing to keep that private.

I missed what happened?! You have me worried. How did you find out you'd been linked???

I've often considered going completely anon also...

I am just like you with the picutres and "skimming". Must be why I like your blog so much. :)
Look fwd to whatever you bring. Will miss the cute family photo's but c'est la vie. I keep my family update blog private too b/c it's all about my kids so I understand.

I love the name of your blog and I would hate for you to change it. It will be hard to read your posts without the photos. You always tell the best stories and incorporate the photos so nicely.
