something from nothing.

Scrappy-ness was instilled in me at a very young age. Finding ways to make somethin' out of nothin' is a sweet pastime of mine. Imagine my joy when we had leftover puff pastry scraps from making chicken pot pies!
Add a little cinnamon and sugar, and place the strips onto a cookie sheet:

Happiness is dusted with sugar:
400 degrees for 10 minutes brings you:
Of course, being scrappy like that means presentation is very important. Don't these treats look like expensive french pastries in:
A reward for young dinner-finishers:
Alas, it's a hard choice. Which one has the most cinnamon-goodness?

Oh, I don't think I could be as cute and scrappy as you even if there WERE classes! But my son would gladly scrutinize the twists with your boys for the most sugar and cinnamon-filled AND biggest!

TWISTED--never thoughta that!

Your pictures make me want to break my diet and eat dough, but then your playlist makes me want to boogie around and burn it off.

And so you call these what? Scuffles? Some people call them scuffles but really yours are too nice to be called just scuffles. They need a snazzier name than that!

Yum!! You inspired me to make some of these for dinner last night :) Only I brushed them with a little butter and sprinkled them with garlic salt. It was the perfect little something we needed with the pasta salad I threw together :)
